| Ever since you were a little boy, you wanted to become a mighty pirate and sail the seven seas, looting and plundering. Unfortunately, the country of Prefectford is totally land-locked, so you had to settle for being a Thief. As you wandered the back alleys of Ironforge (and let's face it, most of that place is back alleys), a hand covered your mouth while a blade pushed gently at your ribs. You let yourself be dragged into a pitch-dark abandoned wagon wash. A sultry female voice introduced herself as Rose Crypt stein. She asked you to undertake a quest to recover the Duke of Reeves's lost ferret, Princess. Reasoning it was the best quest you'd get until you leveled up a bit, you agreed to help. At first it was a real breeze, but you soon were confounded by a fiendish rearranging of tiles with pictures of plumbing on them puzzle, and by the time you figured out to solve it, you were steamed as an underfed cat. Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless gangsters and orphans -- even a cockatrice! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Skull Necromancer Slashmarmoset, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a sphere of annihilation with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Bacon and claimed your reward.
