Life was hard as an orphan on the streets of Flytrap, without a grandpa or sister to teach you right from wrong. On the other hand, you wouldn't have grown up to be such a talented Thief otherwise.

In the fiefdom of Delawhat, in the unpleasant-smelling backwater of Pittsburgh, you found an inn with cheap mead and spent the night carousing. There, you heard a tale of the forgotten treasure of the Diamond Plains, lost for ages during the time of the great clusterbugger. You decided to seek the treasure yourself, heedless of the literal mountain of skeletons of those who had tried before you.

You were doing a neat job until you had to fend off half a dozen indigent native tribesmen with your ankle trapped in a succubus. Fortunately, most of them ran away when the rust monster showed up, and you played dead until it left. That's not very heroic, but hey, it worked.

However, you managed to overcome the odds (and your injuries), and after a lengthy crawl through a strip mall infested with dark elves, you finally came upon the lair of the Shadow Overlord Evilthing, who was guarding the object of your quest. The evil fiend fell before your shiv, and the land was finally free of his foul shenanigans. You made your way back to civilization, and basked in the glory of your success (and the reward money).
