| At an early age, you were apprenticed to the Great Wizard Curly, but you grew tired of having to sweep the floors and filter the alchemical equipment day in and day out. So, you stole a spellbook and took off to become a Wizard on your own. As luck would have it, you found yourself wandering through the sleepy village of Sto Lat just as the village people (you know, the construction worker, the cop, the Indian) were beset by the evil Lord Wrathwinder, who had poisoned the town's ferret population. Against your better judgment (and with the hope of fat loot to come), you agreed to try and bring the villain to justice. You were doing a nifty job until you got attacked by more hobgoblins than you could handle. You were lucky to get out of there with your neck intact! You holed up in a small storeroom with a lockable door, and spent several weeks resting until your hitpoints were back to full. Then, keeping a careful eye out for gangsters, you made your way to the lair of Demon Lawyer Warflamingo and the object of your quest. You thought he nearly had you when he summoned a foul gazebo to his aid, but you put paid to the beast with your Leatherman and knocked the villain screaming into a iron maiden with a well-placed kick to the bung. At last, the treasure was yours!
