Ever since you were a little boy, you wanted to become a mighty pirate and sail the seven seas, looting and plundering. Unfortunately, the country of Yarbleshire is totally land-locked, so you had to settle for being a Thief.

You rode into the city of Taintingham, and met a shadowy stranger in a hooded cloak who was sitting in the corner of the local bar. He told you about the legendary Azure Bat of Flansburgh, which is rumored to be hidden in an ancient dungeon near the village of Dogspittle, and promised you a hefty fee if you could bring it to him. Figuring he wouldn't offer you the quest if it weren't level-appropriate, you readily agreed.

Everything was going great at first, but you didn't expect to have to bareknuckle-fight all those orcs. That beholder picked the total worst time to eat your yo-yo.

Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless bullywugs and badgers -- even a hellhound! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Black Troll Grognard, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a awkward conversation with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Hambonia and claimed your reward.
