| After the entire village of Malph was murdered, including your sister and uncle, you vowed to get your revenge. You became a mighty Fighter, albeit one who was easily distracted by sidequests. In the fiefdom of Waxton, in the unpleasant-smelling backwater of Dropseat, you found an inn with cheap micheladas and spent the night carousing. There, you heard a tale of the forgotten treasure of the Emerald Oceans, lost for ages during the time of the great unpleasantness. You decided to seek the treasure yourself, heedless of the literal mountain of skeletons of those who had tried before you. Everything was going great up until the part where you found yourself trapped between a antlion pit and a swinging razor-sharp pendulum, with a rakshasa bearing down upon you. That strawberry was pretty delicious, but it's didn't really make up for the damage to your shoulder. Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless tramps and gunslingers -- even a lich! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Devil Wizard Grunwold, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a vending machine with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Bacon and claimed your reward.
