There are two methods for approaching the texts you will find here. The first is to conceive of it as a non-linear novel, with chapters being presented in a random order. The second is to use it as a fortune telling engine, a sort of Tarot reading. The querent chooses three cards, one for each of the three axes - , +, and 1. These can be generally thought of as Mind, Energy, and Body. You may approach these readings with a question in mind, or let the cards speak for themselves. Additionally, space is provided for your own material to be mixed in with card to be drawn. These will give a far more personal reading than just the text alone. These interpretations come in two lengths - the standard interpratation which is generally a few paragraphs, and the "fortune cookie," which is generally only a sentence or two.

The leftmost card is turned over first. This is the card. This card represents the principle of the Ideal. This is your mental or spiritual life. In the text box here, enter your own philosopical musings, writings that you have found to be particularly profound, etc. The first card tells you where your head is heading. The first symbol of this card bears special signifigance. It will tell you, where your brain is taking you. The middle card represents the plus. This is the active force of the soul. + is energy and magic. It is the most powerful element of the triptych, and of course the most unpredictable. + can represent sexual energy as well as other mystical forces. It is the burning bush and the big bang. Learn to use + well and you could become a magician, versed in the secret Telecult Arts. In the box here, you may put your own dreams, hallucinations, poetry that moves you, etc. The middle digit of this card is the one to watch. The final, leftmost card is your physical being and your immediate surroundings. Because of this, this is the card that tells the most about your actual future. It is akin to what you might expect from a horoscope or a carnival gypsie. It lets you know what the world has in store for you. The input here should be your own diaries and stories, newspaper articles that you find interesting or funny, and so forth.

This is, of course, by no means a comprehensive guide to the symbolism of the cards. This will take time and practice, and devoted acolytes, as they become more psychically keen, will find themselves relying less and less on the interpratations, and more on their own Telecult Power. Once you reach this point, it is possible to develop alternate spreads, always relying on one’s Mental Earphone for guidance in this matter. Remember, the book is just a guide to the method. It is not a dream dictionary or a psychic encyclopedia. It is up to you to hone your own personal Telecult methods and techniques. I do find the cards, however, to be an excellent gateway to the active practice of the Telecult arts. Learn well, Grasshopper, and soon you will be on your way to joining the hidden brotherhood and enjoying a wonderful new life of money, friends, and power.
