At an early age, you were apprenticed to the Great Wizard Boris, but you grew tired of having to sweep the floors and filter the alchemical equipment day in and day out. So, you stole a spellbook and took off to become a Wizard on your own.

You headed off into the wild wilderness of Prefectford in search of adventure, and upon your arrival at the great city of Shaffly-on-Surrey you heard a town crier shouting about how the the blacksmith's nubile nephew had been kidnapped by dark elves, and the massive reward for their rescue. Not wanting to get in the way of the plot railroad, you set out on your new quest.

It wasn't a thing but then you wandered into a room totally full of ents, plus a gazebo, which is weird because you would have figured they'd have killed each other. They made a pretty good attempt at killing you, though.

Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless skeletons and barbarians -- even a mimic! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Demon Wizard Xxyrg, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a crocodile's mouth with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Flansburgh and claimed your reward.
