| Life was hard as an orphan on the streets of Sto Lat, without a uncle or niece to teach you right from wrong. On the other hand, you wouldn't have grown up to be such a talented Thief otherwise. You headed off into the wild wilderness of Hamonrye in search of adventure, and upon your arrival at the great city of New Brunswick you heard a town crier shouting about how the a charwoman's half-witted half-brother had been kidnapped by gunslingers, and the massive reward for their rescue. Not wanting to get in the way of the plot railroad, you set out on your new quest. You were rocking the house but you soon were confounded by a fiendish tower constructing puzzle, and by the time you figured out to solve it, you were agitated as an underfed boa constrictor. However, you knew you'd never be a mighty adventurer if you let a little setback like that stop you, and damned if you were going to end up a "seamstress" in some crummy backwater like Hamlet or Klatch. So you pressed onward until you discovered the lair of the Grim Devil Lord Diabolicus, and after a long and dramatic battle you successfully put an end to his evil ways. And then you looted the hell out of his hideout.
