You rode into the city of Shaffly-on-Surrey, and met a shadowy stranger in a hooded cloak who was sitting in the corner of the local bar. He told you about the legendary Amber Kitten of Calamaria, which is rumored to be hidden in an ancient pyramid near the village of Rusty Nail, and promised you a hefty fee if you could bring it to him. Figuring he wouldn't offer you the quest if it weren't level-appropriate, you readily agreed. Everything was hunky-dory up until the part where you found yourself trapped between a cookie jar and a vending machine, with a beholder bearing down upon you. That strawberry was pretty delicious, but it's didn't really make up for the damage to your calf. Fortunately, "giving up" isn't in your dictionary (probably because it's two words), so you persevered. You fought your way through countless accountants and kobolds -- even a hellhound! But eventually you found the lair of the sinister Frost King Hasslehoff, and were able to defeat him by knocking him into a iron maiden with a lucky critical hit. Bruised but successful, you made it back to the nearby city of Wibbleford and claimed your reward.
