| Ever since you were a child in the meager village of Stubborn Mule, you wanted to become a great Wizard and learn the great mysteries of the universe, such as how they get the cream filling inside the snack cakes. The answer turned out to not be very interesting, but by that time you were a Wizard anyway. One fateful day, you were strolling through the quiet village of Pig-in-a-Poke when you met the town town crier. That worthy begged you to try and rescue an inkeeper's skeletal roommate, who had been kidnapped by kobolds. Having little to do except save the world from an evil sorcerer or whatever, you took the quest. You weren't having any problems until you got lost in a sewer -- all the walls looked exactly the same! You did find a sweet battleaxe +1 in a shoggoth's lair, though, and were able to intimidate some gnolls into telling you where their boss's hideout was. Right before they stabbed you in the nipple. However, you managed to overcome the odds (and your injuries), and after a lengthy crawl through a sewer infested with orcs, you finally came upon the lair of the Horror Sorcerer Goldthwait, who was guarding the object of your quest. The evil fiend fell before your pike, and the land was finally free of his foul shenanigans. You made your way back to civilization, and basked in the glory of your success (and the reward money).
