| When you were growing up in the little town of Foobar, you always wanted to be a mighty Fireman. You ended up being a Fighter instead, because you didn't have the right prime requisites. At the tiny tavern on the outskirts of the Village of Pig-in-a-Poke, you were trapped in a conversation with a man who had clearly had more than his fill of honey wine. He told you about the great plague of toads that had beset the entire region of Delawhat, and of the rumor that the evil Knight Unpleasantor was the source of the unpleasantness. You resolved to find the villain and dispatch him, mostly to get the drunk guy to shut up. It was pretty easy, but you soon were confounded by a fiendish hurl-birds-at-pigs puzzle, and by the time you figured out to solve it, you were mad as an underfed ferret. However, you managed to overcome the odds (and your injuries), and after a lengthy crawl through a dungeon infested with ents, you finally came upon the lair of the Fire Overlord Mephistor, who was guarding the object of your quest. The evil fiend fell before your 10' pole, and the land was finally free of his foul shenanigans. You made your way back to civilization, and basked in the glory of your success (and the reward money).
